Curated Playlist's three-day pop-up brings nine homegrown food concepts to Al Quoz

From prebiotic soda to viral Bundt cakes, Curated Playlist's returning pop-up is a three-day event featuring the region's most talked-about food and drink brands, running October 2 to 4.
Curated Playlist is returning with La Casa De Cherries, a three-day pop-up from October 2 to 4 at Area 57, Al Khayat Avenue, Al Quoz. The event will feature a carefully selected list of regional brands, including an impressive line-up of homegrown food and beverage concepts.
On the health-leaning side you'll find Halapop, Lighthouse, Plaay, Maitha & Treats and Curame. Sitting comfortably alongside them are the more unapologetically indulgent names: Unknown Treats, Underbake, Masrana and Lyna's. Here's who to look out for:
HALAPOP—If you’re looking for a refreshing beverage to cool down, then this is the one—and it’s good for you. The prebiotic soda brand has five flavors spanning Cherry Cola, Ginger Lemon, Pomegranate Hibiscus, Strawberry Vanilla and Tangerine. They also offer variety packs if you can’t decide. Rooted in the mission of creating a soda that is good for your gut, the brand uses fruit juice and a selection of plant-based ingredients. The founders, Walid Antabli and Karim Jalloul, are committed to creating a brand that facilitates both wellness and enjoyment.
UNKNOWN TREATS—The viral Bundt cake brand is viral for a reason. The concept takes the classic Bundt cake and reworks it by serving mini versions in six flavors: Fun-nilla, Cocoalicious, Coco-loco, Cinna-swirl, Lemonique and Peanutopia. They’re just as fun as they sound with the option to add nostalgic add-ons like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Fruity Pebbles. The brand has hinted that there will be something new at the pop-up, so make sure to stop by and check it out.
UNDERBAKE—If you like gooey, chunky dessert, then you can’t sleep on this. No, you really can’t because Underbake is a pop-up and limited drops kind of brand. Their specialty is the Cinnamon Melt Cookies—warm and squishy on the inside. They will be releasing weekend specials at the event, so run, don’t walk if you want to catch them.
MASRANA—An Emirati-Palestinian brand renowned for their innovative take on café beverages. They’re redefining staple drinks by introducing Middle Eastern flavors to them. You should go for the Za’atar Latte—one of their best sellers—alongside the Merimeyah Latte if you want to get a real taste of the brand. Some drinks can be customized with their original syrups.
LIGHTHOUSE—This Mediterranean-inspired eatery will be at the event serving fresh, high-quality dishes to keep you nourished while touring the venue. Think steak melts, sharing platters of hummus and muhammara, and a spread of salads, sandwiches and mains.
PLAAY—Guilt-free chocolate from nutritionist Rashi Chowdhary, made without refined sugar, gluten or soy. Beyond the signature truffles, look for the new slabs, including a 70% Dark Chocolate Caramel Crunch Mousse Bar.
MAITHA & TREATS—Another brand that promises nourishment while satisfying your sweet tooth. The treats are gluten, dairy, egg and refined sugar free to encourage a healthier relationship with indulgence, built by founder Maitha Al Owait.
CURAME—This “good for the soul” dessert brand serves cookies, small bites and spreads. The best part is they’re transparent about everything including the ingredients in each treat and the calories.
LYNA’S—This Abu Dhabi-born cookie brand is committed to making gooey treats, prepared in small-batch. They come in flavors like Biscoff, Nutella Crunch, S'Mores and Matcha.
